I grew up moving between two worlds—the sanctioned daylight of design studios and the nocturnal pull of the streets. By day I taught myself design at sixteen and started freelancing for small businesses. By night I was scaling rooftops in Ekbatan, hunting for concrete that could hold a story. Friends began calling me The Nightwatcher, a name that stuck, grew teeth, and eventually became the banner under which I create today.
My path has never been linear.
I began in software engineering at Tehran’s ETC before political turmoil pushed me to Kuala Lumpur, where I completed a BA (Hons) in Graphic Design from Nottingham Trent University. By the time I graduated, I had already exhibited in galleries, created work for brands like Ralph Lauren and Tim Burton, and spent a brief chapter as a gallery manager and art dealer—a role that taught me how images travel, how they breathe, and how audiences carry them.
From there I stepped into the corporate design world, joining Marketing Communications Group, a network spanning Dentsu and Final Target across Dubai, Tehran, and Istanbul. Those years across MENA and East Asia sharpened my taste for strategy, discipline, and visual communication at scale. But the artist in me, the Nightwatcher, never stopped evolving.
Eventually I found myself pulled into new frontiers: blockchains, generative systems, and AI. Not as hype cycles, but as living materials. Tools that crack open new aesthetic spaces. Technologies that reshape how stories take form. I dove in fully, blending design, technology, and narrative into creative work that moves between mediums with ease—installations, product interfaces, generative art, creative research, and systems built to feel almost alive.
The Practice
As an artist (Nightwatcher): I explore liminal cities, dream logic, memory architecture, mysticism, and the quiet rebellions that shape identity. My work spans street art, painting, generative experiments, exhibitions, and immersive installations—always searching for the pulse inside the image.
As a creative and product designer: I craft systems, interfaces, and experiences at the intersection of design, AI, and storytelling. I shape tools, features, and narratives used by millions, building things that feel human even when powered by machines.
Creative Philosophy
I operate in the spaces between worlds—technology and mysticism, structure and chaos, corporate precision and street art rebellion. This isn’t just a theme; it’s my creative operating system.
I treat emerging technologies as spiritual tools, architecture as narrative, and design as a form of cultural witnessing. Each project is both meticulously crafted and spiritually untamed, carrying the tension between discipline and wildness that defines everything I make.
Curiosity is my engine. It pushes me to cross disciplines, absorb strange data, and stitch threads between worlds that don’t usually sit in the same room. It’s what lets me be a designer one day, a director the next, an artist in the middle of the night, and a product thinker mapping futures that don’t exist yet.
What Drives the Work
Across two decades, one thread has stayed constant: I chase meaning in motion. I look for what’s hidden in plain sight—the ritual inside the routine, the rebellion in the margin, the story waiting to be excavated from the urban landscape. My work refuses simple categorization because it’s built from the ground up to dissolve boundaries rather than respect them.
Whether it’s a major brand activation, a generative art piece, or a product interface, I’m building worlds with internal logic. Spaces where memory and technology collide. Experiences that operate on multiple levels—functional and conceptual, polished and gritty, accessible and mysterious.
This is the world I have been building, one frame, one interface, one night at a time.
If it resonates, step into it with me.
