Statement
Romeo Echo Delta (RED) builds on the veiled eroticism of the Memento series, pushing further into themes of desire, resistance, and identity. Acting as an encrypted visual diary, the work explores the tension between personal fantasy and societal expectation through symbolic, often abstract forms. While retaining the artist’s signature use of stencils and spray dust, RED shifts focus from literal figures to evocative symbolism, inviting viewers to form their own interpretations. In doing so, it bridges neo-pop and abstraction, offering a quiet rebellion against forced assimilation and a poetic inquiry into the mythos of desire.
